The low number of homes on the market—down nearly 36% since September 2019—has continued to benefit sellers and pinched buyers, according to Denton County data provided by the Collin County Association of Realtors.
Home sale prices rose throughout the three cities by between 8% and 10% over September of last year.
The drop in home inventory coincided with a rise in purchases, as nearly 30% more homes were under contract in Lewisville in September than were in the same month the year before.
Flower Mound saw a smaller, but still significant year-over-year increase of 16% in the number of homes under contract. Highland Village had 12% more homes under contract in September than were the year prior.
