Highland Village City Council unanimously approved the appointment of new members to various board and commission positions during its Sept. 27 meeting.

The Board of Ethics appointed Megan Pigott; the Community Development Corp. added Rick Reekie and Patrick Finch; and Steve Winkle was appointed to the Planning and Zoning Commission.

Hogan Heathington, Brent Myers and Russell Jackson were appointed to the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board, the Planning and Zoning Commission and the Zoning Board of Adjustment, respectively, after serving as alternates on those boards previously.

City Council also reappointed Jordan Wooten to the Board of Ethics and Mayor Dan Jaworski to the Community Development Corp.
