Starting Oct. 1, the Lewisville Public Library will be open later on Thursdays and will add additional hours for Fridays and Saturdays.

The updated library hours are 9 a.m.-8 p.m. Monday-Thursday and 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Friday-Saturday. The library will continue to stay closed on Sunday, according to the website.

The drive-up window offers service during operating hours, and the drive-up book return is open 24/7, the website states.

The Hive, Lewisville Public Library’s makers space, also has changed operating times. It is open 11 a.m.-7:30 p.m. Tuesday-Thursday and 10 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Friday-Saturday. The Hive is closed on Sundays and Mondays, according to the website.
