Flower Mound is now accepting applications for its residential rehabilitation program for those affected by the coronavirus pandemic.
The program, initially created in 2012 to assist low- and moderate-income homeowners, offers a loan amount of up to $60,000 to those who are eligible. The loans are forgivable over a period of five years, according to the town.
Applicants must meet U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development income requirements, request repairs that are feasible for rehabilitation and be able to show proof of their income being reduced because of the pandemic; they must also have a property that is eligible for repairs.
More details on those requirements, as well as the application for the program, can be found here.
