Nothing Bundt Cakes, located at 360E FM 3040, Ste. 860A, Lewisville, opened Aug. 31. The shop offers a variety of cakes made with handcrafted recipes.

“This is such a happy business as most of our guests are coming in to celebrate something," Jim Sheahan, owner of the new Lewisville bakery, stated in a news release. "We get to share those special moments and bring joy to others. We are all blessed with this opportunity to serve and try to in turn bless others.”

There will be a series of grand opening events at the new cake shop Sept. 10-14.

Nothing Bundt Cakes will host a ribbon cutting ceremony with the Coppell Chamber of Commerce Sept. 10 at 11:30 a.m., and another with the Lewisville Area Chamber of Commerce Sept. 12 at 4 p.m.

The bakery will also host a benefit day Sept. 13. Twenty percent of that day's sales will be donated to Journey to Dream, a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping teens overcome adversity.

Additionally, on Sept. 14, Nothing Bundt Cakes will end its grand opening week celebration by giving its first 50 customers free "Bundtlets" for a year, which will allow them to get one free mini-bundt cake per month.
