Here are festivities scheduled during the three-day weekend in Lewisville, Flower Mound and Highland Village.

July 1

The River Walk at Central Park will hold its Red, White & River Walk event July 1-4. The festivities will feature food trucks live music and specials from local restaurants Primo’s, Scout and Sfereco. Scout will also have free arcade games, and each patio will offer corn hole. July 2

The Flower Mound Symphony Orchestra, the Voices of Flower Mound and the Trietsch Chancel Choir will hold two Independence Day-themed concerts. July 4

Lewisville’s Castle Hills community is hosting its annual Freedom Festival. The event will have bounce houses, water slides, face painters and more. Castle Hills Village Shop restaurants will provide concessions for purchase, and food trucks will be on-site. The town of Flower Mound is hosting its annual Independence Fest. Randy Rogers Band will headline the event. As part of Flower Mound's Independence Fest, the Children’s Parade will start at the corner of Eaton and Timber Creek roads and will end at nearby Leonard and Helen Johns Park.
