No single candidate managed to gain more than 50% of the vote in the May election for Flower Mound mayor, triggering a runoff election between the two lead candidates, Derek France and Itamar Gelbman.
The runoff will be June 5 with early voting between May 24 and June 1.
France received 40.6% of the vote, and Itamar Gelbman came in second with 24.8%. Cheryl Moore was in third with 17.5%, Stephanie Bell in fourth with 13.3%, and Jehangir Raja in fifth place with 4.4%.
All precincts are reporting.
Flower Mound Mayor Steve Dixon announced in February that he would not seek re-election, saying he wanted to spend more time with his family.
Flower Mound Town Council member Jim Engel ran unopposed for another term in his Place 4 seat.
