Lewisville ISD will use its winter weather days after recent closures.

The district announced March 4 that students will attend classes April 18, May 24-25 to make up for the days missed related to the weather earlier this year, according to a district announcement. Students will be released early on May 25.

The additional days account for all the missed days this year except for the most recent closure Feb. 24, according to the announcement. District officials will discuss how to account for the missed day.

“I want to express my sincerest gratitude for our families as we have worked through many challenges together this school year,” Superintendent Lori Rapp said in the announcement. "We are proud of our teachers and staff who are working diligently to keep our student learning on track, and we value your partnership in the education of your child. Your support makes it all possible."
