The Lewisville, Flower Mound and Highland Village communities all grew from 2010-20, according to data from the 2020 decennial census. However, the sizes of the communities, their tax rates and annual budgets vary.

Like many cities, Lewisville saw an increase in its population in the 2020 census. It also saw an increase in its diversity over the past decade. Flower Mound saw a slightly larger increase in population than Lewisville in the past decade with almost 11,300 new residents. Highland Village saw a population growth of less than 1,000 new residents during the past decade. It maintains a predominantly white population.
