Denton County Public Health confirmed an additional 20 cases of COVID-19 over the weekend of May 9-10.
The new cases of coronavirus included three new cases in Lewisville, two in Flower Mound and one in Highland Village. With the new cases, Lewisville has had 108 residents test positive for the virus, Flower Mound has had 41 residents confirmed with the virus, and Highland Village has had 12 cases.
Health officials in Denton County reported 12 new cases of COVID-19 on May 9 and eight additional cases on May 10.
Those brought the county’s total to 922 confirmed cases through Sunday. Of those, 440 residents who were diagnosed with the virus have recovered, and 25 have died. There are 457 cases that remain active in Denton County, according to public health officials.
