Lewisville ISD will add weekend meals to its to-go meal service across 14 district locations starting May 1.

Breakfast and lunch will be offered for Saturdays and Sundays, according to the district’s April 30 announcement.

Meals will be available for pickup at 12 different school sites Mon.-Fri. from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. At the time of pickup, students will receive two meals: lunch for that day and breakfast for the next day. On Fridays, they will receive additional breakfast and lunch meals for the weekend.

The district also has two mobile meal sites: one at 1708 Bunker Hill Lane, Lewisville, and another at 4000 Ace Lane, Lewisville. Meal pickup will be available at those locations from 10:30-11:30 a.m. and 12:30-1:30 p.m., respectively.

Any student or child age 18 or younger is eligible for the free service regardless of their free and reduced lunch program status, according to the district.

If the child is not present at the time a parent or guardian picks up the meals, the person picking up the meals must show an official letter or email from the district showing their child’s proof of enrollment, a student report card, school attendance record, the child’s birth certificate or a student identification card. Pictures of those items will be accepted too, according to the district.
