Denton County Transportation Authority to offer free shuttle service to Highland Village Lions Balloon Festival


Denton County Transportation Authority will provide free shuttle service to the 32nd annual Highland Village Lions Balloon Festival Aug. 16-17.

DCTA will offer free shuttle service from Marcus High School to the festival grounds. According to DCTA, festival-goers who use the shuttle service may park at the Marcus High School Sports Facility.

On Aug. 16, the shuttles will run every 20 minutes from 5:30-11 p.m. The shuttles will run on Aug. 17 from 4:30-11 p.m.

The event, hosted by the Highland Village Lions Club, will take off with live music, a car show, 12 food vendors, 100 booths and hot air balloons. Attendees can participate in balloon rides and races.
