During a storm event in March 2017, the Highland Village Municipal Complex roof sustained hail damage that caused water penetration in several areas into the structure, resulting in some mold growth in the rotunda area.
City Council approved a resolution June 11 authorizing an agreement with 308 Construction LLC for the repairs.
The city is responsible for a $2,500 deductible. City staff said additional supplemental funds will be received through the Texas Municipal League Intergovernmental Risk Pool for these repairs.
The cost estimate was listed as $82,414.82 in the City Council meeting packet.
