City of Lewisville to purchase property on Main Street to be used for additional public parking

At the June 3 Lewisville City Council meeting, members approved a $600,000 commercial contract for the purchase of 233 Main St.

The property will be used to accommodate the city’s immediate need for additional public parking for the city’s Visitor’s Information Center, which is located directly west of this property.

City staff said the property could also be used for potential future expansion of the MCL Grand Performing Arts Center.

The land will be purchased using hotel motel funding.

Closing is scheduled for June 20.
