The Lewisville Parks and Recreation Department will hold a public meeting to discuss the proposed Valley Vista Nature Park on Thursday. The meeting will take place at 6 p.m. at the Senior Activity Center, located at 1950-A S. Valley Parkway. An open house event will begin at 6 p.m., and representatives from Studio Outside Landscape Architecture will hold a presentation and discussion session at 6:30 p.m. Following the presentation, a walking tour of the proposed site for the Nature Park will begin at 7:30 p.m. Residents are encouraged to attend the meeting and share their ideas and concerns. Valley Vista Nature Park would be an urban style nature park located across the street from the site of the new Multigenerational Recreation Center. The creation of the park is meant to further the “Extending the Green” Big Move of the Lewisville 2025 vision plan.
