The Shops at Highland Village hosts its Summer Concert series each Friday in June. All concerts are family-friendly. Each night features a new band. On June 17, Time Machine will take the stage to feature music from the ‘70s, ‘80s and ‘90s. On June 24, Toxic: A Britney Spears Experience will feature top Britney Spears songs and choreography. 7:30-9 p.m. Free. Enjoy tunes

The Sounds of Lewisville concert series runs every Tuesday in June and July. The concert will feature bands including 4 Ya Soul Band, The Elton Johns, Grupo Vida and Back in Black. Pamper Dad


A Father’s Day boat ride is available for residents to celebrate their dads. The event features a two-hour cruise on Lewisville Lake, a three-course meal, a DJ and a comedy performance. Celebrate America

The Town of Flower Mound will host its annual Independence Fest. Randy Rogers Band will headline the event. The festival will feature activities for all, such as a children’s parade, a vintage car show, vendors, live entertainment and a firework show. Gates open at 5 p.m. Free.
