Flower Mound residents will see the completion of two road projects in the early part of 2022.

The projects include the Bruton Orand northbound turn lane and the Edgefield Trail street reconstruction, according to Flower Mound’s project website. The Bruton Orand project includes the installation of a northbound right-turn lane at the FM 1171 and Bruton Orand intersection, according to the project details. The project includes about 200 feet of paving, sidewalk and traffic signal relocation, and it will cost $550,000, which is funded through the town’s general fund and tax debt.

Construction is scheduled to be complete in February, and utility relocations and signal work is currently underway, according to the city’s website. The Edgefield street reconstruction project is also scheduled to be completed in February.

This project is the reconstruction of Edgefield and its sidewalk.

The project costs $1.41 million and is funded through dedicated sales tax.
