Flower Mound seeks artwork for traffic signal boxes

Flower Mound officials are looking for three designs to feature on traffic signal boxes. (Courtesy town of Flower Mound)

Flower Mound officials are now accepting artwork to be featured on traffic signal boxes in town, according to a town news release.

Artwork submitted should reflect one of two themes, including “The Flowers of Flower Mound” or “Celebrating Cultural Diversity.” The competition is open to artists of all ages who live in Flower Mound or Denton County, according to the release. Preference will be given to Flower Mound residents.


Three designs will be selected, according to the release.

Submissions will be accepted through Jan. 31. Details on design criteria and dimensions and application forms/submissions can be found online at www.flower-mound.com/trafficbox.
