The Lakeside Music Series will return to Flower Mound tonight after a hiatus brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic.

The free event starts at 7:30 p.m. Sept. 18 at the Shops at Lakeside and will feature vocalist Ryan Thomas, who will perform a variety of ’90s country hits. The town council approved the event earlier this week.

Guests will be required to keep six feet of distance from other groups and wear masks when within six feet of anyone outside their household.

Most of the shows this year have been canceled as the town enforced restrictions on larger events during the pandemic. Organizers intend to keep holding concerts through the fall if the health guidelines are met, according to their website.

Thomas is the lead vocalist for the Dallas-area cover band Straight Tequila Night. The venue is located at 2314 Lakeside Parkway, Flower Mound.
