In observance of Juneteenth on June 19, several Coppell facilities will be closed.

According to a city news release, regularly scheduled trash and recycling collections will take place June 19 with no delays.

Per the news release, city facilities that will be closed on the holiday include:

• City of Coppell administrative offices
• Coppell Municipal Court
• Cozby Library and Community Commons
• The Biodiversity Education Center
• The Senior and Community Center at Grapevine Springs
• Coppell Animal Services

On the holiday, the Coppell Arts Center will be open for theater and art camps.

The Core as well as the Wagon Wheel Tennis and Pickleball Center will both be open during regular hours, with the Core’s outdoor pool open from 1-8 p.m. For more information on Juneteenth hours, visit the city website.
