Lewisville officials held a grand opening for Hedrick House on March 7.

The event space reopened after undergoing renovations, which included mechanical and electrical equipment improvements, converting the kitchen into a catering kitchen, renovating the bride’s room, and landscaping and parking lot improvements.

The house was built in 1962 as a single-family home. The building became a rental facility after it was dedicated to the city in 1987. In 2020, Lewisville City Council approved a $2.6 million renovation to help preserve the legacy of the original house’s design.

Hedrick House can hold up to 150 people. It features indoor and outdoor event space as well as small breakout rooms. Reservations are available for residents and nonresidents.
