Lewisville City Hall turned 20 years old Dec. 7.

The building is the third iteration of a city hall, following the initial one in 1956 and then a second one built in 1989 at 1197 W. Main St.

The new location was designed to blend with other historic buildings in Old Town Lewisville. The top of the city hall is 82 feet high and has a depth of 86 feet. The building houses 11 different departments.
