Lewisville City Council approved an amendment to the economic development agreement between Heritage Towers LLC and the city during its Sept. 19 meeting.
Heritage Towers is constructing 282 multifamily units with green space in the city’s northern gateway. Development of the area also includes construction of enhanced landscaping, hardscaping and streetscaping improvements, according to the agenda item. The subject property is located on Summit Avenue.
Heritage Towers requested an amendment in order to incorporate a private dog park into the development and remove both the detention area and the private dog park from the public open space. Heritage Towers will maintain ownership and maintenance of the dog park and the detention area.
The project is about 60% complete, according to the agenda item. The estimated completion date is March.
