Slime-A-Palooza

Attendees in sixth through eighth grade can experiment with different slime formulas and take home their creations. All materials will be provided. To attend this program, a Teen Program Pass will need to be picked up from the front desk of the library and handed in at the entrance of the program.Acoustic Fridays Rock Songwriting Challenge

Musicians and singer-songwriters can test their skills in this rock-themed challenge at Lewisville Grand Theater. Participating songwriters may perform their songs on acoustic instruments or a capella although an electric bass guitar and keyboard are exceptions to this rule. Solo performances are allowed, but songwriters may have an accompanist.March


Youth/Teen Community Musical Theatre Workshop

Theater lovers can attend this musical theater workshop hosted by the Young Artist Training Program. The workshop covers vocal, acting and dance techniques for musicals. Advanced registration is required.River Care Clean Up

Volunteers from the community, college students, scouting organizations and many others are meeting to help clean up the Elm Fork of the Trinity River shoreline. The River Care team meets at the Blackjack Trail parking area before driving down to the river parking area. Participants are encouraged to bring work gloves and sensible shoes.Community Beautification Event-Tree Planting

Residents can join Lewisville Parks and Recreation officials at a tree planting event at Memorial Park. The effort will help enhance the park's beauty and environmental health, and tools and supplies will be provided. The meeting location is at Thrive Recreation Center.St. Paddy's Texas Style


The city of Lewisville is hosting a St. Patrick’s Day and Texas Independence Day in one event. The event will include live entertainment on three stages, inflatable attractions, vendors, food trucks and beer. Music genres included Irish Folk, Celtic Rock, Texas Country and Americana.Spring Break Art Camps

Kids can enjoy a medieval- and magical-themed art camp over spring break at the Coppell Art Center. Each day offers a unique theme that guides a hands-on project to spark imagination and develop artistic skills. Tickets are per child.Sunset Socials: Music Old Town

Coppell is hosting a park social with a performance by Reputation, a tribute band that performs the eras of Taylor Swift with hits like “Blank Space,” “Bad Blood” and “Shake It Off.”
