Audubon Christmas Bird Count


Christmas Bird Count is an Audubon initiative to count the number and species of birds in an area post-fall migration. Bird species will be tracked by using Merlin and eBird apps while exploring both sides of the nature park at the Biodiversity Education Center. Afterwards, attendees will hang out on the observation deck, wait for the birds to stop by and make recordings. No registration required. 20 spots are available, first come, first served. Participants are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and a water bottle. Light snacks will be provided.

Spend some time goal setting and vision planning for the new year. Visualize your goals for the next year and make an inspiring board with motivating pictures, quotes, and thoughts to encourage you to reach your goals. Open to adults ages 18 and up. The Shops at Highland Village is hosting a party featuring music, dancers, a 360-degree photo booth and face painting. Seconds before noon, a countdown to the new year will be held with a balloon drop and special surprises.Noon Year's Eve - Cozby Library in Coppell

Guided Hike - Hike with Your Dog


Learn about the dos and don’ts of walking with pets in Coppell Nature Park. Please bring a hat and water bottle and wear comfortable clothes and shoes. Children under 16 years must be accompanied by an adult.Singing Cadets

The Singing Cadets are a 100-year-old student choir that performs a variety of patriotic and broadway songs. This event is presented by Coppell A&M Club.Micro Habits, Major Results: Sustainable Weight Loss Without the Fads


This presentation is designed to help participants shift away from restrictive diets and discover how small, manageable changes—known as micro habits—can create lasting results. Attendees will learn how to achieve their health goals while still enjoying the foods they love. This program is for adults 18 and older. No registration is required.

STEAM - Stacking Liquids

Attendees will have the opportunity to learn more about liquids and how they float on top of each other. This activity is limited to 15 participants, on a first come first serve basis. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
