Watch for birds

The Lewisville Lake Environmental Learning Area hosts its monthly bird walk. An expert birder joins the group to explore prime birding locations along the LLELA’s nature trails. Crochet with friends

The Cozby Library and Community Commons invites crocheters and knitters of any skill level to get together and socialize. Participants can bring their own work and hang out or get tips from others. This is not a formal teaching experience. Participants are encouraged to bring their own supplies, but some supplies are available. Paint and sip

Head to the Coppell Arts Center for a Bob Ross-themed Paint & Sip session. The two-hour painting class includes all painting supplies, and Kate Shema of Createria Studios will be the instructor. No experience is necessary to participate. A selection of beer and wine will be available for purchase at the bar. Listen to music

The Lewisville Lake Symphony presents “An American Salute.” The music from “West Side Story” and frontier favorites such as “Shenandoah,” “America the Beautiful” and “Oh Susannah” are all slated to be played by the symphony orchestra. Get your gobble wobble on

Benefiting Coppell Animal Services, the fourth annual Gobble Wobble 5K & Fun Run takes place at Andrew Brown Park East. Proceeds from the event will be donated to Coppell Animal Services to provide food and other necessities for animals in need during the holiday season. In this holiday production, the Ingalls family is happy and warm in their little house. Lewisville’s Old Town Holiday Stroll is a family-friendly event in partnership with the Main & Mill Association, which works with the city to promote growth and support for local businesses and community expansion, according to the Main & Mill Association website. The Old Town Holiday Stroll includes selfies with Santa, the Motorcycle Toy Run, the Huffines Christmas Parade, a scavenger hunt and a tree lighting ceremony.
