With all Denton County and Dallas County precincts reporting, Lewisville voters have passed the four propositions that make up Lewisville's $263.4 million bond.
- Of the 5,497 votes cast, 79.37% of voters were in favor of Proposition A.
- Of the 5,481 votes cast, 69.29% of voters were in favor of Proposition B.
- Of the 5,477 votes cast, 69.69% of voters were in favor of Proposition C.
- Of the 5,487 votes cast, 77.51% of voters were in favor of Proposition D.
Lewisville voters remain in favor of the city's proposed $263.4 million bond, according to unofficial results from Denton and Dallas counties. Results from all 245 Denton County precincts are in while 78 out of Dallas County's 442 precincts have been reported.
- Of the 5,494 votes cast, 79.38% of voters are in favor of Proposition A.
- Of the 5,478 votes cast, 69.31% of voters are in favor of Proposition B.
- Of the 5,474 votes cast, 69.71% of voters are in favor of Proposition C.
- Of the 5,484 votes cast, 77.52% of voters are in favor of Proposition D.

The specifics
There are four total propositions on the ballot ranging from $6.7 million to $198.9 million. Voters have been asked to vote for or against each of the propositions:
- Of the 4,057 votes cast, 80.23% of voters are in favor of Proposition A.
- Of the 4,035 votes cast, 70.19% of voters are in favor of Proposition B.
- Of the 4,036 votes cast, 69.77% of voters are in favor of Proposition C.
- Of the 4,044 votes cast, 78.34% of voters are in favor of Proposition D.
If approved, the bond aims to address citywide infrastructure needs, including proposed street, park, public safety and animal shelter projects. The maximum tax rate increase would be $0.015, according to bond details. Lewisville Finance Director David Erb said the median home value is $351,567. Owners of a house at that value would see a maximum increase of $4.39 per month if the bond is approved.
The propositions are:
- Proposition A: $6.7 million is proposed for public safety projects, including fire access facilities at Lewisville Lake Park and purchasing land for the future relocation of Fire Station No. 4 in north Lewisville.
- Proposition B: $9.9 million is proposed for expansion of the Gene Carey Animal Shelter and Adoption Center.
- Proposition C: $47.9 million is proposed for parks projects, including new and expanded parks, trails and public open spaces citywide.
- Proposition D: $198.9 million is proposed for street projects citywide, including neighborhood reconstructions, major arterials, infrastructure to support the proposed redevelopment of the Vista mall area and associated storm drainage improvements.
The Blue Ribbon Committee, which featured eight Lewisville residents, was initially presented with 68 projects totaling nearly $1 billion, committee Chair Karen Locke said. After collaborating with city officials, the package was finalized with 24 priority projects.
