Respondents are asked to give their preference between three calendar options. The survey is open through Jan. 5.
The details
Each option meets the state’s required 187 teacher workdays and contains 76,095 instructional minutes, which exceeds the state requirement by 495 minutes, according to the survey. There are also no early release days and no school on Election Day.
Fall breaks in all three calendars are between Oct. 11-14 and Nov. 25-29. Spring break is scheduled for March 17-21 to align with Dallas College for dual-credit students at Coppell High School.
