Golden Chick plans to open a quick-service location inside of a Lewisville Walmart.

According to a filing with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, the Richardson-based fast food chain plans to begin work on the 2,200-square-foot location on Oct. 1. Construction is expected to be completed on Nov. 21, per the filing.

Golden Chick serves fried chicken, grilled chicken, catfish, sandwiches and more.
