Crown Centre II is now open for leasing off SH 121 and Windhaven Parkway at Castle Hills in Lewisville, according to a Sept. 17 news release from project developer Bright Realty.

The overview

The $50 million Crown Centre II is a four-story, 140,000-square-foot office building. It includes covered parking, a cafe, a conference center and a fitness center, according to the development's website.

“The Crown Centre II expansion is ... designed specifically to keep pace with a dynamic and versatile community,” said Britton Lankford, Development Manager for Bright Realty.

The building is a part of Bright Reality’s ongoing development of Castle Hills. It is the second office building to open on the 140-acre development.

The project

Once fully completed, Crown Centre at Castle Hills will consist of 2,000 multi-family units, 3 million square feet of office space and up to 500 hotel rooms, according to the website. The development will also feature three open spaces with lakes and trails connecting 35 buildings. Additionally, the project will include 140,000 square feet of commercial space for retail.

“As we see more ground breaking around Crown Centre, we’re enthusiastic about being able to pave the way for further growth along the [Sam Rayburn Tollway] corridor,” Lankford said. “This area of Denton County is on an upward trajectory, and our portfolio of multi-use developments is on target to meet the demands of that growth.”

The development could take up to 20 years to complete and cost $1.3 billion, according to previous Community Impact reporting.
