Job seekers will have the opportunity to meet with Lewisville Parks and Recreation hiring managers and a recruiter at the department’s seasonal job fair.

The department will host the job fair at Thrive, 1950 S. Valley Parkway, from 1-5 p.m. May 18. Attendees can learn about open seasonal positions, fill out applications and participate in on-site interviews.

There are several open positions, including lifeguards, pool managers, day camp attendants and camp leaders.

Lewisville is facing a lifeguard shortage ahead of the summer months, according to city officials. The department is looking to fill approximately 50 part-time and seasonal lifeguard positions to help avoid shorter public pool hours.

Lifeguard applicants must be at least 16 years old. The starting pay is $14.50 per hour for part-time and seasonal lifeguards.

Interested applicants can apply online before the fair here.
