As the Lewisville and Coppell areas continue to grow, more businesses are planning to open shop in the region. Check out a list of six businesses that are coming soon. This list is not comprehensive.

Haraz Coffee House

The shop will sell a variety of coffee and pastries. The menu includes traditional Yemeni items such as iced Harazi coffee featuring cold brew coffee with cardamom and cream as well as espresso options like Americanos and salted caramel lattes. The pastry menu includes tiramisu coffee cake, Istanbul cheesecake and more.Golden Chick

According to a filing with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, the Richardson-based fast food chain plans to begin work on the 2,200-square-foot location on Oct. 1. Construction is expected to be completed on Nov. 21, per the filing. Golden Chick serves fried chicken, grilled chicken, catfish, sandwiches and more.Miriam Cocina Latina

The Mexican and Dominican restaurant’s menu features soups, salads, tacos, enchiladas, desserts and more. The cocktail menu will have a broad selection of margaritas, in addition to rum and mezcal libations, a curated list of white and red wines, and Mexican and local beers.Pinch A Penny




According to the filing, the pool supply store will be located in Eleanor's Square shopping center along Denton Tap Road. Renovations for the 2,136 square-foot space are scheduled to begin Oct. 28 with a completion date of Dec. 20 at an estimated cost of $200,000.

The store offers pool services such as cleaning, maintenance, equipment installation and repair, according to the company website. The company also sells a variety of products including pool chemicals, pool and spa equipment, and supplies like filters, cleaners and replacement parts.Artsy Cakery

Currently operating as a home business, Artsy Cakery will continue to sell custom cakes, in addition to fresh-baked cupcakes and cookies when the new storefront opens. Renovations to the business’ future space are set to begin in early September with an expected opening date in early 2025.Kava Culture

Set to be located in Deck on Main development in Old Town, the bar-concept focuses on nonalcoholic drinks mixed with kava and/or kratom. Kava comes from a plant root that is ground up and drunk in social and ceremonial settings within Polynesian and Pacific Island cultures, while kratom is a leaf from Southeast Asia with deep roots in Chinese and South Asian medicine, according to the company’s website.




Per the TDLR filing, work on the nearly 1,800-square-foot space is set to begin in November with an expected completion date in April 2025.
