Immersive media entertainment company Cosm is set to open its 65,000 square-foot venue at the Grandscape development in The Colony Aug. 31, according to a news release.

The focal point of the venue is an 87-foot LED dome which allows guests to experience live sports and immersive art. The technology aims to bridge the virtual and physical worlds and offer the feeling of sitting being at events through screen visuals and “the energy of the crowd,” according to the release.

The details

The venue will open with a batch of college football games. Following opening weekend, ticketed events at the venue include U.S. Open tennis, Premier League soccer matches, and additional college football games throughout September.

In addition to live sports, ticketed events at Cosm Dallas also include the Cirque du Soleil’s production “O” and immersive art experiences from members of the Cosm Studios Creator Program.

Cosm’s Grandscape venue is the second for the company following its Los Angeles debut in July 2024. Cosm was founded in 2020 and recently raised $250 million for long term growth after securing new investors, according to a news release.
