Fewer homes were sold in three of the four ZIP codes in the Lake Highlands and Lakewood areas in September 2023 compared to September 2022. The largest decrease was in the 75231 ZIP code, where 34 homes were sold in September 2022 and 25 were sold in September 2023. The 75243 ZIP code was the only one to see a rise as 48 homes were sold in September 2023, and that was an increase of five over September 2022.

Median sales prices dropped by nearly 15% in the 75243 ZIP code, while the other three increased. ZIP code 75214 saw the largest increase with a jump of nearly 55% to a median sales price of $1.13 million.
