Dallas City Council is expected to vote Nov. 8 to finalize a contract for nearly $2.8 million worth of alley improvements, including some in Lake Highlands.

The overview

The contract will be used for more than 50 alley maintenance projects across the city, with two in the north part of Lake Highlands. The Lake Highlands projects include an alley from Claymore Drive to Drayton Drive, and an alley that stretches behind Chandler Drive, according to council documents.

If approved, the contract will be with B & E Concrete Paving, according to council documents.
