'Día de Muertos: A Love Letter for the Departed'

The Bath House Cultural Center is hosting “Día de Muertos: A Love Letter for the Departed,” an art exhibition inspired by the Mexican celebration of the Day of the Dead. The exhibit features the works of about 70 artists from Texas, Arizona, Oregon and Mexico.Autumn at the Arboretum

The Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden is hosting “Autumn at the Arboretum,” its annual fall festival featuring 100,000 pumpkins, gourds and squash along with 150,000 fall blooming plants. This year’s festival theme is “It’s The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown,” and themed pumpkin houses are also featured.Vampire Ball: A Murder Mystery

Friends of the Dallas Public Library will host a murder mystery-themed event at the Vickery Park Branch Library. Costumes are encouraged. The event is for those age 16 and older.Dia de los Muertos celebration


The Lakewood Branch Library will host an event to celebrate Dia de los Muertos, a Mexican holiday to honor the dead. Attendees can participate in holiday traditions, such as sugar skull decorating, flower crown making, sacred heart art and more.Branching Out

The White Rock Lake Foundation will host its annual fundraising event, The Jewel of Dallas Gala, at the Granada Theater. Guests will enjoy a menu curated by east Dallas chefs, live music and a silent auction.Pantry in the Park

The Wilkinson Center will host its first annual Pantry in the Park fundraising event at the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden. Guests can expect cocktails, appetizers, a silent auction and more while learning about the Wilkinson Center’s work to combat food insecurity.
