Polls will be open in Dallas County from 7 a.m.-7 p.m. Oct. 24-29, noon-6 p.m. Oct. 30, 7 a.m.-7 p.m. Oct. 31-Nov. 2 and 7 a.m.-9 p.m. Nov. 3-4. On Election Day, polls will be open in Dallas County from 7 a.m.-7 p.m.
During early voting and on Election Day, Dallas County voters may cast a ballot at any polling location. Three polling sites will be open for early voting in the Lake Highlands/Lakewood area of Dallas: the Dallas College Richland Campus, the Audelia Road Branch Library and the Samuell Grand Recreation Center.
Voters who are interested in casting an absentee ballot or voting by mail must submit their application to Dallas County by Oct. 28.
Several statewide offices, including governor, lieutenant governor and attorney general, will be decided by voters in this general election. Voters will also elect a county judge, which is the top elected position at the county level, as well as several other county offices.
Also on the ballot are candidates for the Texas Senate, the Texas House of Representatives, the U.S. House of Representatives, the State Board of Education and several judicial offices.
