Dallas ISD is offering free meals for children at participating sites throughout the city.

The district’s Summer Food Service Program offers meals at no cost for children age 18 and younger and enrolled students up to age 21 with disabilities, according to the DISD website. Breakfast and lunch are provided by DISD food and child nutrition services alongside the Texas Department of Agriculture.

A variety of meals and snacks will be available throughout the day, the website stated. No form of identification is required.

Program start dates are throughout June at several participating locations. DISD has an interactive map on its website detailing locations and start dates. Attendees can also call 211 or text "FOOD" to 304-304 to find a nearby meal site.
