Dallas ISD is inviting residents to help in its search for a new superintendent by posting an online survey.
Longtime Dallas ISD Superintendent Michael Hinojosa announced in January that he would be resigning by the end of 2022. Hinojosa first became DISD superintendent in 2005, leaving the role in 2011 due to moving near Atlanta, Georgia. Hinojosa moved back to Dallas and was hired again as superintendent in 2015.
Not long after Hinojosa announced his departure, DISD launched an effort to find his replacement.
As part of that effort, the school district has posted an online survey for interested parents to fill out. In the survey, participants are asked, among other things, to list their preferred qualifications and qualities for a superintendent. To take the online survey, click here.
