Birdie’s Eastside has opened in the former Luby’s location on Mockingbird Lane in Lakewood. The local restaurant, which includes a full-service bar, offers menu items such as wraps, sandwiches, tacos and steak.
Kevin joined Community Impact in November 2022 as the editor for the Lake Highlands-Lakewood and Richardson editions. Prior to CI, he worked as a reporter for the Dallas Business Journal covering technology startups and venture capital. He also spent time reporting for the Plano Star Courier as well as teaching journalism and English in Mesquite ISD.
