Big Shucks is celebrating 40 years in Dallas.

The oyster bar first opened in 1983 and now offers a wide variety of fresh seafood choices, including shrimp, oysters, catfish and crab legs.

The restaurant is holding a “throwback” celebration Sept. 28 with several in-house specials at all five North Texas locations, including its sister restaurant Aw Shucks, located at 3601 Greenville Ave. in Dallas.
