The city of Dallas is seeking volunteers for the 14th annual It’s My Park Day, a citywide park beautification project scheduled for April 23.

The project will see volunteers help improve a park within their district, with Lake Highlands residents being assigned to Harry Stone Park, and Lakewood residents assigned to Hamilton Park.

Improvements include flower planting, mulching, weeding, litter and debris removal, and more.

“Dallas Parks and Recreation Department needs you to help keep Dallas parks pristine—and green!” reads a release from the Dallas Parks and Recreation Department.

The volunteer event will be held from 9 a.m.-noon.

Those interested in volunteering for the annual initiative must register online by 5 p.m. on April 18. Would-be volunteers can sign up online by clicking here. For event details, those interested can call the parks and recreation department at 214-670-1923.
