Utility relocation is underway for a road-widening project on Golden Triangle Boulevard in Fort Worth.

The gist

According to the city of Fort Worth website, utility work should be completed by the end of the fall for a project that will create a four-lane road in the Alliance area of Fort Worth.

The work on Golden Triangle will span from I-35W to Misty Redwood Trail. The city website site says construction will start in early 2025 and conclude by December 2025.

What else?

The $11.25 million project will also feature traffic signals at Harmon Road and Golden Triangle Boulevard and 10-foot paths on both sides of the road. The funding comes from a 2018 streets and mobility improvements bond, according to the city website.

The project is in Fort Worth City Council districts 4 and 10.
