The configuration of a new four-lane divided roadway with shared-use paths on both sides of the road and street lighting is underway on Intermodal Parkway, according to the city of Fort Worth website.

The road project will create two new lanes and reconstruct existing lanes to create an arterial road between Old Blue Mound Road and the entrance to the BNSF Railway yard entrance.
Single-lane traffic in each direction will be maintained throughout the project, which will start Nov. 5, according to a city official. The project is expected to be completed by March 2026, according to the city website.
