The city of Roanoke announced the northbound and southbound lanes of Litsey Road between eastbound and westbound portions of SH 114 are closed.

The closure started on March 27 and will last through late November, according to a city social media post.

According to the Texas Department of Transportation, Frisco-based construction company Sinacola is constructing a bridge in the area, and the closure is scheduled for 240 days.

Traffic will have assigned turnaround detours at Al Slaughter Parkway to go westbound and Cleveland Gibbs Roads to go eastbound, according to TxDOT.


Additional turn lanes will be added on Litsey Road in the northbound lane, and Briarwyck Parkway will have additional turn lanes in the southbound lane.
