Roanoke residents will see a new configuration to the northbound and southbound traffic on US 377 between Parish Lane/Henrietta Creek Road and James Street beginning Dec. 6 as part of a Texas Department of Transportation improvement project, according to a city news release.

A TxDOT news release said the $33.6 million project should be by the end of December.

The details

Motorists will find US 377 will still be open during this shift, and access to US 377 at Main Street will remain open throughout the day. Adjacent side streets will have limited access to the highway between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. on Dec. 6. Southbound 377 traffic will be shifted to the west side lanes and northbound traffic will be limited to one lane until lane striping is complete.
