The road construction on North Riverside Drive in Fort Worth is expanding the road from two lanes to a four-lane divided highway between Keller Hicks Road and Golden Triangle Boulevard.

According to documents on the city of Fort Worth's website, the $6.1 million project should be completed in late fall.

The project first started in 2022 and also includes drainage improvements, sidewalks and street lights, according to a news release. Traffic signals will also be added at North Riverside Drive and Keller Hicks Road.

Most of the money for the project—$5.1 million—will come from a 2018 bond for streets and mobility improvements, according to city information.
