The Harmon Road widening project is now finished and has been rebuilt as a four-lane road from Golden Triangle Boulevard to US 287.

The details

Roundabouts were built at Golden Triangle Boulevard, Heritage Trace Parkway and Presidio Vista Drive, according to information from the city of Fort Worth. The project cost was $32 million.

The background

The project started in March 2021 and was projected to be completed by March 2023; however, the project wrapped up in August. A 10-foot shared-use path was constructed on both sides of Harmon Road.

There were also streetlight improvements, roundabouts, water line relocations, storm drainage improvements, and a traffic signal added at the intersection of Harmon Road and Quail Grove Drive for Fire Station No. 45, which opened on Dec. 2, 2022.
