According to the city of Keller's newsletter, drivers on eastbound Johnson Road will encounter a lane closure related to construction at Keller High School.
The newsletter said, weather permitting, crews working on the campus’ new indoor extracurricular program facility closed the eastbound lane between Pate Orr Road North and Rufe Snow Drive on June 19. Cones and temporary signage will help move eastbound drivers into the center turn lane to pass the construction zone.
According to the Keller ISD website, construction began on indoor extracurricular practice buildings at each of Keller ISD's four high schools last fall. The facilities at Central High School and Fossil Ridge High School are complete while the two facilities at Timber Creek High School and Keller High School remain under construction. The spaces each include a 100-yard turf field and are able to support all outdoor extracurricular program practice needs inside.
According to the newsletter, the lane closure is expected to last approximately three weeks, with work wrapping up on July 7.
