Tanger Outlets Fort Worth has installed 12 new Volta electric vehicle-charging stations.

According to a June 14 press release from the outlet mall, the EV charging stations are now available for customers in parking lots A1-A3, B1 and D1-D3.

Volta will also be adding two types of its stations, called Four DC Fast and Eight Level 2, which will ensure charging access for all customers, the release states. The charging stations are in “prime parking spots” for up-front and convenient charging.

Tanger Outlets’ partnership with Volta, according to the release, supports the mall’s mission “to create a more community-first experience, while driving measurable results for its environmental impact and sustainability programs.”

Volta’s mission is to build EV charging networks in places where consumers already live, work and play, the release states. The mall’s partnership with Volta will be ongoing.

“Tanger Outlets Fort Worth is continually focused on offering a best-in-class experience,” said Holly Conner, marketing director of Tanger Outlets Fort Worth, in the release. “By adding amenities such as EV charging stations, we hope to provide even more convenience and value for our shoppers while minimizing our collective environmental impact.”
